How to Remove a Toyota Wiper Arm
If you've owned your Toyota vehicle for any length of time, you might be experiencing a few cosmetic issues with your Toyota's wiper arms. While it is rare that these components ever break, the wiper arm assembly is powder coated, and over time this coating can flake off. If you want to restore the wiper arm, you'll need to know how to remove it.
- Moderately Easy
- Socket wrench
- Socket set
Pull the Toyota's wiper arm away from the windshield. The wiper arm has a hinge that will lock once the arm is perpendicular to the windshield.
Swing the wiper blade assembly up from the bottom so that the blade is perpendicular to the arm.
Push down on the release tab on the top of the wiper blade and pull the blade apart from the wiper arm.
